Interns recruitment

Viet Nature Conservation Centre is a non-profit Scientific and Technological Organisation, operating in the field of nature conservation, under the Union of Science and Technology of Vietnam (called VUSTA). Viet Nature was converted from an international conservation organization-BirdLife International which has been operating in Vietnam for 20 years in the field of nature conservation.

Currently we are implementing the project “Protection of biodiversity and enhancement of ecosystem services of the Dong Chau – Khe Nuoc Trong Forest, Le Thuy District, Quang Binh Province” 

To enhance the knowledge and experience to the next generations of Vietnam’s young scientists in the field of nature conservation, we have a demand of recruiting 03 interns according to the following requirements:

– Graduated or about to graduate college with a major in forestry, biology, conservation and management of natural resources;

– Achieving good academic learning outcomes or higher;

– Ability to work in the field (forest and local communities living near the forest);

– Priority is given to candidates with foreign language skills (English: listening, speaking, writing well), IELTS or TOEFL certificate.

Workplace: Viet Nature Conservation Centre’s office in Hanoi (50%) and field projects’ areas in Quang Binh province and Quang Tri province (50%).

The rights of candidates to be recruited:

– To be provided subsistence’s fee;

– Allowance to work in the field according to the project’s regulations;

– To be guided, trained to perform works related to biodiversity conservation and management of natural resources;

– Have an opportunity to be recruited for the project’s or Viet Nature’s staff
